you say to compare two different kinds of music well here it goes: Rap and R&B Vs. heavy metal rap is well put it this way YOU CAN ACTUALLY UNDERSTAND what they are saying on the other had heavy metal i have no clue what they are saying its just all screams to me. i can not stand that. also R&B is music from the heart it has emotions and all that good stuff in there. it's real its not some bull spit that others be making song about
Rock and rap are pretty much the same. just different backround music but every person is telling a story in their lyrics. rock music is more louder then rap ..Rap has more base. rap uses words played off of other words.
Well, I listen to pretty much anything. I like to listen to country when I'm in a calm mood, it's very laid back and calming to me. I like to listen to rap when I'm hyper, it's very jumpy music it gets me pumped. I like to listen to rock when I'm sad or angry. When I'm sad I feel I can relate to some of the songs and when I'm angry I like the songs that just scream because thats all I feel like doing.
I listen to a very small variety of music. Its all in one big industry though in rock. I listen to alot of Alternative Rock and Christian Rock. Some bands that are christian that really know one knows about is bands like Relient K, Underoath, 12 Stones, Switchfoot, RED and P.O.D. The two styles of music are actually very similar in there styles. The only major difference is in the lyrics. One style is religious and another style is well...whatever the song is about. I really dont have to much of a variety of music bet yet i like alot of bands. I like these styles of music mostly because in concerts everything is actually played by the band...its not lip synced or anything else. Part of the reason why i like christian music to is not only becuase its good, but the ones who are not big at the concert you can go up to them after the show and just talk to them for a little while...its a really cool environment.

Carrie Underwood, I can actually say that I like her music. She sings about everything true in real life. Now rap music talks about girls and howe they are are going to get some. I can still like listenig to rap just because i just like the way it sounds. Its fast and gets you hyped up to dance to. Both of them are different because its guitar and rap is rapping.

Insted of comparing two differnt types of music i'm doing two differnt musical groups, but the same type of music. The Doors, and the Greatful Dead. The reason i'm doing these two is because they are my two favirote bands. The main difference about the two is that the Doors sing about emotions and on actual events that happend. While the greatful dead tell storys...some real but mostly made up that has hidden meanings/messages.
