Describe a Food Experience

Here is another descriptive challenge. Write about an experience with food in as many details as possible. This experience might be eating a gyro, Thanksgiving dinner at your grandmother's house, Kenosha County Fair food stands, or menu items at your favorite restaurant.

My favorit dish to be served is definitly fried clams.I love fried clams, and in my house it goes as soon as the plate hits the table.Every family party for the holidays or whatever we always have fried clams. They are the best with a lime squized on top of them. I cant even describe how good they taste. You just have to take my word for it its the best.

My Mammy's homemade lasagna. The way that my mammy makes her homemade things is something that words can not decribe. Once she is done she lets everyone know that she is done, then she makes us all a plate. As she goes to hand me my plate you could just smell from across the room the smell of her homemade lasagna. My mouth begings to water as if this is my first time trying her lasagna. As I take a bite down I go to pull a piece off with my mouth and you can just see the cheese strings from the lasagna to my mouth. The taste of the cheesest piece of lasagna you evered tasted. It's like I'm tasting food for the first time of my life all over again.

One night I went out to dinner at Chillis. Little did I know what i was about to eat. So we got there ordered our apetizers Skillet Queso and there Hot Buffalo Wings.
The Skillet queso is chips and salsa with a seperate dish of there cheese bean dip. The bean dip explodes in your mouth like fireworks. The thing that makes the dip is how hot it is. The hotter the better, but not to hot so it scolds you, just hot enough to let you know that your eating something. You dont want to really ever finish eating the Queso because of its cheesy topping. Then come the Buffalo Wings, there hot both in temperature and spice. Usually you can smell the hottness sizzling on the wings. They are drenched in the hot sauce so far that half of your wing is covered in sauce just from extra sauce. The first bite, sometimes it takes a couple tries because when you get it up to your mouth the smell goes up and burns your nose. Once you bite into it the flavors shoot around your mouth like 10 million ping pong balls. The flavor overtakes the hottness of the wings but the hottness reminds you that you may need something to cool you off after. The wings are so good they make any other place seem like a cheap gimmick. Now the main dish comes, Chicken Club Tacos. I really dont even know whats on it there is so much. They pack the tortilla so much that once your done eating all three, you have enough for one more just from all the stuff falling off the end. The tacos are filling in a way iv never felt before. You know your full, but yet your stomach hides the other food just to make room for one more bite. The tacos are very flavorfull. They have so much flavor it makes a Macintosh apple seem like they need to rethink what there doing. Not all the flavors hit you at once. It always seems like it goes through stages before your done tasting the full affect of the tacos. The flavor hits you like an avalanche but then...seems to pause for a minute and then do it all over again. Chillis is by far my favorite resturant too go to.

There is no concealing the scent of a gyro meat. The contents within the wax paper, within the aluminum foil, within the paper bag, deep inside my school bag seep into the unpolluted air. I deeply inhale the intoxicating garlic fumes that fight to escape the layers of packaging. Once I unwrap this gift from the Grecian gods, my taste buds begin to salivate uncontrollably. My first indulgent bite of gyro meet surpasses my first romantic kiss. Unfortunately, the story must stop here before you find out too much about my obsession with gyros.

Well my mom makes homemade mexican food almost everyday. When she makes tortas those are the best. For people that don't know what that is, It's a bread cut open down the middle nice and soft. She puts the bread on some kinda pan to lay the bread and lays it down on it to warm it up. Then theres the meat, It's steak she puts it in the bread. She makes homemade beans to put in it. She puts mexican cheese, gaucamole, and whatever else you want on it. What makes it the best is I put jalepenos, hot sauce, and limes just talking about it makes me want one. The taste of it is to die for even though I shouldn't be eatin hot stuff. It does kill my stomach but I dont care because I love it. The taste of when you bite into it is so delicious O and I can't forget the homemade mexican rice that she makes with it. yummy yummy. Honestly I can live on mexican food but I would be so huge lol.

Every thanksgiving my Grandma makes most of the food, and when you walk threw that front door your mouth starts watering. The turkey cuts like butter, then mashedpotatoes with cheese and corn mixed into it.pretzelsticks with bacon wraped around it,and peices of chicken wraped with bacon. The stuffing so good once u take a bite out of it ,its like a orgasim on ur tastebuds. The gravey with ur turkey, mashedpotatoes, stuffing tastes so good. But thats not the end after all that the pumkin pie with wipcream & the chocolate silk pie and then its done with an explosion in your mouth.

Because i work in a kitchen I have a different food experience every day. My favorite types of food experiences are seasional foods. The kind of food that is only around for part of the year. This time of year you can expect gamier types of food like duck, goose, lamb and turkey. Just the other day my manager made spare ribs for a special, the second i saw them I was able to put a mental taste in my mouth and it makes me rember that dish from exactly 1 year ago. Taste and smell are the strongest sences tied to memory, thats why im able to picture the juicy spare rib meat falling off the bone and disinagrating in my mouth.
